Physicians for Human Rights

Since 1962, Burma has been ruled by a military junta that is notorious for committing human rights abuses against its own people, including forcible relocation and forced labor. In 2010, as the country approached its first elections in 22 years, Physicians for Human Rights began a campaign to document and publicize the widespread human rights abuses that are still occurring in four of Burma’s ethnic minority states. Principle Pictures traveled with PHR to northern Thailand to shoot an advocacy video that was released concurrently with the organization’s report.
